More than 2,000 years ago, Jesus said the harvest is abundant, but the laborers are few. But He didn’t stop there. Then Jesus said to pray earnestly to the “Lord of the harvest” to send out laborers into His harvest.
Jesus’ invitation “back in the day” to join Him on His mission to reap a harvest of souls for eternity and change the world is just as timely and relevant today.
Will you accept Jesus’ real-time invite to pray for a spiritual awakening across Latin America?
This part of the world is truly ripe unto harvest, both agriculturally and spiritually. Growing and harvesting a wide array of genetically-engineered variety of crops is the life-blood of this region’s economy. Agri-business in Latin America attracts thousands of workers who are hungering for the Bread of Life while trying to quench an eternal thirst found only in Jesus Christ.
And that is exactly why Planted Ministries exists—to serve as a catalyst for spiritual awakening throughout Latin America. Our mission is to lead an indigenous church planting movement in agrarian communities by helping start First-Generation evangelical churches in some of the hardest-to-reach places.
We are seeking to plant churches in strategic cities adjacent to agricultural communities through community engagement.
Our efforts are focused on meeting the physical, spiritual, educational, environmental and social needs of the community.
Following the New Testament church planting model, we are praying and trusting that faithfully sowing the seed of the Gospel will yield an abundant harvest of indigenous Believers and Next Generation Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Then, this transformational effect will result in a Gospel-centered reformation of individuals, marriages, families, villages, businesses, schools, society and culture.
