PASTOR HECTOR HUGO ORTEGA SANCHEZ
CHURCH PLANT CATALYZER – SINALOA, MEXICO

Hector serves as a Grace Church of the Valley church-planting missionary pastor in Mexico. Hector was called to serve as a pastor in 2014. He has MA in Theological Studies from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Since 2018 when he arrived in El Fuerte, Sinaloa has served as an elder in the Iglesia Biblica Casa de Dios planting team. Hector is the church planting catalyzer in Sinaloa and Nayarit, Mexico, as well as the northern and southern districts of Lima, Peru. He currently directs the Conference Portavoces training indigenous church leaders serving rural communities and he is part of the leadership of the Planted Pastoral Residency Program.

Pastor Hector and his wife Indira have three sons Emiliano (8), Bernabe (3) and Elias (1) and a daughter Phoebe (5). He and his wife enjoy the few rainy days of the year to the fullest with a good talk and a cup of coffee. In addition to reading good books and running, he likes to practice Karate with his older son and daughter.
